Meet The Mingler — A Roaming Photo Booth Coming Soon to Utah

There's a new booth on the way at Rocky Mountain Photo Booth, and it's the first one we've built that doesn't stand still. Meet The Mingler — a roaming photo booth that walks the event with your guests instead of waiting for them to walk to it.

The Mingler works the room so your guests don't have to leave it.

What The Mingler is

The Mingler is a handheld photo booth — a camera and ring light on a portable rig, run by one of our attendants who moves through the event capturing the moments people don't want to step away from. Cocktail hour. The dance floor. The table where everyone's actually laughing. Photos, GIFs, and boomerangs go straight to guests' phones by text or email — no line, no station to find, no waiting.

It's the same warm RMPB experience you already know — just unbolted from a single spot in the room.

Why we built it

A traditional photo booth is great when guests come to it. But a lot of the best moments at an event happen somewhere else — and we kept hearing the same thing from couples, planners, and corporate clients: "What about the people who never made it over to the booth?"

The Mingler is our answer. A few things it's especially good at:

• No line, ever. The booth comes to the guests, so there's nothing to wait through.

• Catches the candids a stationary booth misses — toasts, dance-floor moments, table shots, side-room conversations.

• Fits venues a full booth wouldn't. No backdrop, no fixed footprint — works in tight cocktail spaces and ballrooms with no obvious booth corner.

• Pairs with anything. Use it on its own, or layer it on top of any of our existing packages — Tortilla 360, Guac, Salsa, or Salsa Selfie Station — to cover both the booth corner and the rest of the room.

  
  

Where The Mingler shines

Weddings. Cocktail hour and the dance floor are where The Mingler does its best work — the in-between moments where everyone's loose, talking, and not thinking about lining up for a photo. It's also a way to make sure your further-flung tables get included without hauling everyone across the venue.

Corporate events and brand activations. Trade shows, conferences, product launches, holiday parties — anywhere the goal is engagement and the room is moving. The Mingler is built for crowds that won't stop and form a line. Branded photo frames carry your logo and colors into every shot, the same way they do on the rest of our packages.

Galas and fundraisers. Donor moments, board photos, mingling shots before the program starts. Fundraisers usually have a tight timeline and a room full of people who'd rather be talking to each other than queuing up — The Mingler keeps the photos rolling without pulling anyone out of the conversation.

Standalone or add-on

Once The Mingler launches, you'll be able to book it two ways:

1. As a standalone package for events where a full booth isn't the right fit.

2. As an add-on layered on top of any of our existing booths — Tortilla 360, Guac, Salsa, or Salsa Selfie Station.
