If you're planning an event in Utah and trying to figure out whether a photo booth fits your budget, you're in the right place. It's one of the most common questions we get — and the answer is probably better than you expect.

Here's a straight-up breakdown of what photo booth rentals actually cost in Utah, what drives the price up or down, and what you should make sure is included before you book anyone.

The Short Answer

Photo booth rentals in Utah typically start around $399 and go up from there depending on the type of booth and how long you need it. At Rocky Mountain Photo Booth, we offer four options at different price points — so whether you're throwing an intimate birthday party or a 500-person corporate gala, there's a setup that makes sense for your event and your budget.

Our Booth Lineup & What Each Costs

Salsa Selfie Station — Starting at $399

Our most affordable option and perfect if you want the photo booth experience without the bells and whistles. The Salsa Selfie Station is a drop-off digital booth — we deliver it, set it up, and pick it up when you're done. No attendant, no prints, no props. Guests can still capture photos, GIFs, and boomerangs and share them instantly via text or email. Great for casual events or when budget is the priority. Includes 3 hours, with additional hours available at $75 each.

Salsa — Starting at $499

The Salsa is our mid-range printing booth and one of our most popular options. It comes with a 12-megapixel camera, ring light, a full-time booth attendant, backdrop, themed props, and a custom photo strip template — all included. Two 2x6 prints per group are standard, with options to upgrade to more. First two hours are $499, with additional hours at $100 each.

Guac — Starting at $699

Our flagship booth and, honestly, a photo booth perfected. The Guac features a 24-megapixel HD mirrorless camera with studio-quality lighting — the difference in photo quality is immediately noticeable. It comes with everything Salsa does, plus a premium custom-designed photo strip template built from scratch to match your event. First two hours are $699, with additional hours at $100 each.

Tortilla 360 — Starting at $899

The showstopper. Our Tortilla 360 is a 4K 360-degree video booth powered by an iPhone 15 Pro Max with industry-leading hardware and software built to work together. Guests step onto the platform, the arm spins around them, and they walk away with a stunning slow-motion 360 video they'll actually share on social media. It includes our InstantHalt safety system and SpinSync precision so the arm starts and stops in exactly the same spot every time. First two hours are $899, with additional hours at $100 each.

What Affects the Final Price?

Beyond the base booth rate, a few things can adjust your total:

Event duration is the biggest factor after booth type. All of our packages are built around a two-hour block (three for the Selfie Station), with hourly add-ons after that. A four-hour wedding reception will naturally cost more than a two-hour birthday dinner — plan accordingly.

Printing upgrades on Guac and Salsa can add $100–$150 depending on how many prints per group you want. Unlimited prints also comes with a complimentary memory book — a guest-signed photo album that's a huge hit at weddings.

Add-ons like green screen (+$100, available on Guac and Salsa), 4x6 prints (+$50/hr), or a premium template upgrade on Salsa (+$50) can round out your package.

Location — we serve the entire Wasatch Front and Park City at no extra travel charge. Events further out may include a small travel fee depending on distance and rental length.

What's Always Included

One thing we're proud of at Rocky Mountain Photo Booth is transparent, no-surprise pricing. Every staffed package includes setup and breakdown at no extra charge, a full-time booth attendant for the duration, a custom photo strip template, a backdrop, themed props, digital sharing via text and email, and an online photo gallery. No weekend surcharges, no hidden fees.

Is It Worth It?

Every single time. A photo booth gives your guests something to do, something to take home, and something to talk about. It creates a natural gathering spot at any event and generates real, shareable content in real time. When you stack it up against other entertainment options — a DJ runs $1,000+, a live band even more — a photo booth delivers a lot of fun per dollar.

After 12 years and over 1,000 events across Utah, we can tell you with confidence: the photo booth is almost always the thing guests remember most.
